- Sa Foradada (Deià). Sa Foradada is one of the quintessential sunsets in Mallorca and the most photographed one for sure, but it well deserves it. Right at the entrance of the village of Deià, you will find Sa Foradada’s viewpoint with amazing views over the rock from where the place takes its name, foradada means with a hole in Majorcan. You can enjoy the breathtaking views from the bar located right next to the viewpoint or delight yourself with a meal at Mirador Sa Foradada Restaurant.
- Mirador de Formentor (Formentor). From Formentor’s viewpoint, you will have the chance to enjoy the best views over one of the iconic places in Mallorca: Formentor’s lighthouse. The access by car to Formentor is limited during the months of July and August, only permitted from 19h. During the daytime you must take a bus from Port de Pollença station to get there.
Sant Elm (Andratx). Located in the south coast of the western part of Mallorca, Sant Elm is a small village totally sea-facing, which allows visitors to enjoy the sunset in the sea from almost the whole town. Port de Sa Marina (Valldemossa). Whitin a few kilometres by car from the picturesque and famous village of Valldemossa, you will find its small harbour, also known as Sa Marina. The sunset is the perfect excuse to spend the afternoon at Sa Marina and stop by Valldemossa on your way back.
- Cala Deià (Deià). On the outskirts of the village of Deià, there is the small cove of Cala Deià. There you will be able to enjoy the sunset from beach or sitting at one of the most popular local restaurants in Deià Ca’s Patró March and Ca’n Lluc.
- Banyalbufar. A small frontline village, highly frequented in summer due to its incredible beach with a waterfall. Banyalbufar is together with Estellencs and Deià, one of the best points from where to enjoy the sunset. In addition to this, the landscape of the village is unique and the different levels of vegetations, popular known in the island as marjadas, make it truly one of a kind.
Randa (Algaida). Randa is a small hamlet located near the villages of Algaida and Llucmajor, that has a 543 meters high hill, from where you can appreciate a panoramic view de over the whole island. Needless to say the fabulous images you can get of a sunset in Randa. Estellencs. Located in the foothills of the Tramontana range, Estellencs is small coastal village with less than 300 inhabitants, which makes it specially charming to spend the day at. Due to its privileged location, the sunset in Estellencs is absolutely amazing almost from every point of the village. S’Albufera (Alcúdia). S’Albufera is a natural park located in the north of the island, close to Platja de Muro beach and between Muro and Sa Pobla villages. This natural protected area is the widest humid area of the Balearic Islands, and its charm during the sunrise and sunset is truly alluring. S’Albufera is a suitable place to visit with kids, as you can easily walk around the park and you have the chance to see varied kinds of animals and vegetation.
