Some places of interest to visit

• S'Estanyol: a small coastal village that belongs to the municipality of Llucmajor. It was a fishing village and is now a residential area with a marina, sailing and fishing school. You can still find quaint fishermen's cottages in S'Estalella.
• Old town:
• Plaza de España: the liveliest place in this municipality where you can find several bars, restaurants, cafés, and small shops for fashion and souvenirs.
• Plaza del Zapatero: its name is due to the fact that in the past, a large part of the inhabitants of Llucmajor made their living from footwear, which is why a monument was built in honour of the shoemakers.
• Baroque Convent of Sant Bonaventura: a place full of history with great architectural and artistic value dating from the second half of the 17th century. It is Baroque in style and particularly beautiful.
• Talaiotic site of Capocorb Vell: it is a historic and artistic monument and one of the main tourist attractions of the municipality.
• Cap Blanc lighthouse: one of the most mysterious and isolated places in Llucmajor. It is closed and access by car is not allowed, but it can be reached via a footpath.
• Weekly market which takes place every Sunday morning and where you can browse local produce and handicrafts.

Recommended beaches near Llucmajor

• Cala Blava: small and quiet cove of sand and stones located in the Cala Blava development in Llucmajor.
• Cala Pi: 17 km from Llucmajor, it is a beach of golden sand and turquoise blue water between two cliffs.
• Arenal de Sa Rápita: only 13 km away, it is an extensive sandy beach with crystal clear waters and all facilities.
• Es Trenc: famous beach of white sand and crystal-clear waters 28 km from Llucmajor.

Restaurants

There are several restaurants to choose from, a wide range of international restaurants and others with purely Mallorcan cooking. You can also enjoy more sophisticated cuisine in the hotels in the area.

One of the restaurants not to be missed is the Miquelet Restaurant in Cala Pi where you can eat fresh fish with views of the sea.

Golf

The Son Antem Golf Club is 5 km away. Within it, you can find two courses:

• Son Antem East: it has a classic design. It is an ideal course for high handicaps, with flat greens and little defence around them. It is par 72.
• Son Antem West: this is a more demanding course, with a more technical second round, especially the final holes. The greens have more movement and are well protected by bunkers and water hazards. It is par 72.
