Pet Friendly Villas to Rent in Mallorca

Travelling with a pet today is not an unusual option for many travellers. Holidays are no longer an excuse for not taking this beloved family member with you abroad.

Moreover, the island offers many plans that will fit with your pet, like pet-friendly beaches. There are not many beaches in Mallorca that allows pets but we have found several for you!

Pet-friendly beaches in Mallorca

• Punta Marroig: the dog-friendly beach of Punta Marroig is located between the beaches of Palmanova and Es Carregador, and it has been prepared to facilitate dog access to the area. Punta des Marroig is a small steep ledge, where a modern garden has been installed with native plants and a viewpoint with excellent panoramic views. It has a small beach of stone and rocks that has been fitted out as a dog area.
• Calo des Gats: small beach for dogs made of stones and sand, located between Punta des Gats and Cala Blanca.
• Cala Blanca: located 3km away from Puerto Andratx, this small beach of pebbles and rocks is in a natural inlet between cliffs on the west coast of Mallorca. It is a lightly frequented beach where the water is crystal clear with a rocky bottom and sand in some areas.
• Llenaire beach: located near Puerto Pollensa, it is a rocky and stony beach, with some pine trees behind it where the pets can enjoy some shade. The part of the dog-friendly beach is marked by signs with information about the rules.
• Na Patana beach: located in the town of Can Picafort, this is a small sandy beach within the protected natural area of Son Real, and is rarely busy.
• Es Carnatge beach: rocky area with small coves located in a protected natural area between Coll d'en Rabassa and Can Pastilla. Dogs can walk freely in designated areas.

In addition, there are some places that allow pets in winter, for example:

• Andratx, Pollensa and Capdepera (1st November - 31st March)
• Artá (1 October - 30 April)
• Muro beach (1st November - 28 February)

If you want to dine out with your dog, you will find many dog-friendly restaurants in Mallorca, so that won't be a problem!

Long walks at the seafront promenade, dinners on a terrace or hiking in Tramontana are themselves great plans, but doing them with man's best friend by your side can become a truly pleasant adventure.
