Set in the middle of a valley scattered with orange groves in the Tramuntana region, Sóller is one of the most popular and beautiful towns in Mallorca. If you like walking or cycling surrounded by impressive landscapes, Soller is the perfect place to rent your holiday home and spend your holiday. We strongly recommend that you sit on the terraces of the main square to drink freshly squeezed orange juice while contemplating the fascinating panorama.

You can also ride your bike in Port de Sóller's cycle lane that borders the sea from the pier until the lighthouse. The harbour's promenade and commercial area are also attractive to visit. What makes Sóller special?

Sóller is a destination to visit all year round, there is always life on its streets. The summer temperature is ideal due to its position in the valley and proximity to the sea. And in winter you can walk the cobbled streets discovering its modernist buildings. The romanticism of the atmosphere has attracted many A-list visitors. The main square of Sóller is a magical place to enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the imposing Modernist Church of the town with the mountain backdrop caressing the horizon. The church was built between the 15th and the 16th centuries, however its facade was rebuilt by Joan Rubió, one of Gaudi's disciples, in 1912.

The narrow streets are lined with many traditional Mallorcan houses and shops, as well as the long-running railway station. In fact, the wooden railway, which was built in 1911 and connects Sóller with Palma, is one of the town's most recognisable landmarks. During the journey, you enjoy spectacular scenery and it is undoubtedly a highly recommended experience. The journey continues on a small tram from the town of Sóller to the beautiful Port of Sóller.

And what about Sóller's festivities?

The most popular festival in Sóller is called Es Firó, when they celebrate their victory against the Moorish invasions in 1561. They even make a reenactment of the historic battle, from the Moorish landing and ending with fireworks.
